AEW Dynamite and NXT continue with their crowd-less weekly shows during this pandemic All Elite Wrestling’s ratings are slightly down from last week, they still topped WWE rival NXT.

Bryan Alvarez tweeted the numbers:

Dynamite managed to pull in 693,000 viewers which is down from last weeks 731,00. NXT lost viewers too. Their average viewers this week as 637,000 down from last weeks 665,000.

Alvarez reported that AEW’s Dynamite finished in 16th place in the key demographic this week. NXT finished in 51st, just off the top 50 chart. The key demographic is what advertisers look at when decided what to advertise on.

Dynamite this week seen both Cody Rhodes and Lance Archer make it to the final of the TNT championship tournament. In the opening match, Cody managed to once again defeat Darby Allin. Lance Archer mauled Dustin Rhodes in the main event. The final match will take place at pay per view Double or Nothing.

NXT saw the continuation of the NXT Cruiserweight Championship tournament and seen Keith Lee retain his title against fellow big man Damian Priest in the NXT North American Championship main event match.

Next week’s NXT show should see a rise in the ratings as both the NXT Championship and the NXT Women’s Championships will be defended.
