AEW Star has suggested on social media that he might need surgery on an issue that has recently been keeping him out of the ring.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman took to Twitter this week to discuss the situation. What we do have to take into consideration is that while on social media MJF is very well known for staying in character when being interviewed so this story may well just be him keeping with character but we thought it might be worth sharing just in case.
This week MJF took to twitter to answer a fans question:
I wish I could put my body on the line more for you guys. I truly care so much about you being entertained during your hour of need. Unfortunately something awful has happened to me and it has gradually gotten worse. I can’t comment on what the issue is at this time. https://t.co/1WoXSzPh7r

He then followed it up a few days later asking him where he has been lately he replied:
My Issue has gotten worse, Its looking like I Might need surgery.
I’m genuinely trying my very best to comeback for you guys. https://t.co/7oT41sLbr3

MJF has not been present at the last set of tapings of Dynamite episodes. There is a list of on screen talent that will not be on the pre-taped shows due to the Coronavirus pandemic including Young Bucks, Adam Page, Nyla Rose, Big Swole, The Lucha Brothers and Pac.
If Friedman’s injury is legitimate, we wish him all the best. We are not sure how much of an update we can give to this after he told us on Twitter today that he is taking a break from social media:
Going to take a break from Twitter.
