Along with a whole host of wrestlers yesterday, Karl Anderson was Released from WWE yesterday. It seems he has wasted no time in making possible plans. He tweeted a video today teasing a return to Japan.

The video begins with a voice that sounds very much like the voice at the beginning of the bullet club theme saying the words “Machine Gun” which was Anderson’s nickname in New Japan wrestling. The video simply shows a journey to Tokyo Japan. How much more of a hint could he give?

Anderson signed with WWE in 2016. He was part of a wave of New Japan stars who joined WWE, which also included Luke Gallows, AJ Styles, and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Since arriving in WWE, he has been exclusively teaming with Gallows and has formed groups very similar to the original Bullet club faction with AJ Styles and Finn Balor.

It may be early to read too much into the video, but it would appear Anderson is preparing for a return to New Japan Pro Wrestling and perhaps Bullet Club as well. Will Gallows follow him?
