We have not seen WWE Legend Edge in action since he got injured at BackLash. He had to undergo surgery after tearing his triceps against Randy Orton in the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever”.
Edge has been seen on screen and on social media, today he mentioned that he wants to face an NXT star at the next Takeover event.
This was in response to the comedy manager on NXT, Robert Stone. He has been looking to work with some of the biggest names in wrestling but his business seems to be failing and his Robert Stone Brand seems to be going nowhere.
One of the names that Stone reached out to was Edge, who said that if a number of conditions were met then he would be happy to work with his brand.

On last night’s episode of NXT Stone did have a bit of success. It seems that he has struck up a business relationship with Mercedes Martinez. This will likely be a brief encounter between the two before Martinez becomes impatient with his antics and fires him.
With a lot of the demands being difficult to provide, could Stone pull it out of the bag and set up what would be an amazing match between Edge and Balor?
