The final entry to the Money in the Bank ladder match was determined on last nights episode of RAW in a gauntlet match.

The spot was initially filled by Apollo Crews, but he had to be pulled from the match due to an injury that occurred while facing Andrade in a US Title match on last weeks episode.

The gauntlet saw Bobby Lashley dominate early on, picking up quick wins over Titus O’Neil, Akira Tozawa and Shelton Benjamin.

However, in the next round against Humberto Carrillo Lashley got himself disqualified and ref Shawn Bennett called for the bell. The ‘All Mighty’ then took out his frustrations on Carrillo by delivering a massive spear, leaving him vulnerable for the next participant, his own cousin Angel Garza.

Angel Garza had a big smile on his face as he came to the ring. For most of the match he was in full control of Carrillo. Somehow, Carrillo withstood several minutes of punishment and scored the win with a victory roll.

Carrillo vs Theory was shorter but the same equation with Carrillo escaping victorious. His next opponent? AJ Styles.

The ‘Phenomenal One’ was victorious making the Mexican tap with the Calf Crusher in what ended up being the final round to stamp his ticket to the most unique Money in the Bank ladder match to date.

He then continued attacking Carrillo’s leg after the match until he was forced off by a referee, and took to the mic to say that he’s going to do anything to get the contract, even if it means throwing someone off the WWE HQ roof.

AJ will join Rey Mysterio, Aleister Black, King Corbin, Daniel Bryan and Otis in the battle for the men’s contract. Both ladder matches will be pre recorded and will be played simultaneously throughout the event on May 10th.
