As the Coronavirus pandemic takes a grip of the United States and the rest of the world,it seems no one is safe from the virus.
It is being reported today that former WWE Superstar Rusev, real name Miroslav Barnyashev, has confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Rusev broke the news to fans today while streaming live on his Twitch channel online.
It had been reported earlier this week that Rusev’s real wife Lana revealed that both of her parents also tested positive for the virus. The WWE star has not come out publicly to say that she has tested positive.
Rusev who was let go from WWE in April as part of a cost cutting exercise by Vince McMahon, seems to look and feel well while chatting to fellow gamers online. It seems he only had mild symptoms and only got tested because members of his family had been found to have the virus.
Since Rusev was fired from WWE there has been a lot of speculation as to where he will go next, but we are still waiting on confirmation as to which promotion has been lucky enough to sign him.
We wish Rusev (now known as Miro) and all his family a quick recovery.
