Chris Jericho has once again had a shot at WWE and their ratings. For quite a while now AEW Dynamite has dominated not only the average amount of viewers over NXT but also smashed them in the all important 18-49 demographic.
Jericho, who is referring to himself as the DemoGod has taken to social media to react to last week’s Dynamite show not only beating NXT in the 18-49 demo, but also WWE’s main roster shows, Monday night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown.
Networks are focussed on the 18-49 demographic as well as the 18-34. This is viewed as important by those in TV advertising.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite pulled an average rating of 0.29 in the important demographics, whereas this week’s Monday Night Raw only managed to get a 0.22 rating.
Here is Jericho’s Tweet regarding the numbers:
Wow! #AEWDynamite beat #WWERaw in the coveted overall 18-34 #Demo in ALL 3 hours this week, .29 to .22! #DemoGod @AEWrestling @wwe

This has been the trend for a few weeks now, and although people are starting to get fed up listening to stats about demographics and hourly breakdown of ratings, we need to remember that Jericho is pushing into his heel character and trying to get a rise out of WWE fans and members of Vince McMahon’s company. you only have to look at the comments under his Tweet to see that he is totally annoying people.
