AEW have are just about to head into their second week of Fyter Fest this coming Wednesday. The two week event was scheduled to host multiple main event matches including all of the titles being defended.
Due to Coronavirus Concerns Jon Moxley had to stay at home during the recordings of the second episode so he will not defend his AEW Championship against Brian Cage for a couple of weeks now.
Chris Jericho has taken to social media today to discuss his upcoming match with Orange Cassidy on Wednesday. The second part of the event was recorded on July 2nd but will not be aired until July 8th.
Jericho posted the following message to his Instagram today:
The fact that Jericho has already filmed the match means that he knows the outcome. After he recorded the ‘Stadium Stampede Match’ he said something similar and he was right there so why not believe him now?
Jericho has become a massive asset since joining AEW performing in ring, commentating and even taking to social media to advertise the promotion. He recently came out to say that although NXT achieved a higher overall viewership last week, AEW was superior in the all-important demographic of 18-49.
Orange Cassidy is also extremely entertaining to watch so we really are looking forward to watching this one.
