Legendary Commentator Jim Ross discussed his dealings that he had with WWE back in the 2000’s. The company were getting prepared to release him from his role within the announcement team and replace him with younger personnel.

Ross left WWE in March 2019 after a two-year contract. A few days later it was announced that he had signed a three-year deal with All Elite Wrestling as a commentator and advisor.
Ross also discussed how much he was enjoying working for Tony Khan’s company. He loves working with the likes of Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and Taz on the current AEW announce team, saying he believes they can stand up to any announce team today.
