Matt Hardy took to social media on Saturday night after he said his phone blew up during the boneyard match between Taker and AJ Styles.
The match was shot very like the final deletion from TNA, all be it, with better production value.
This promotes many to get in touch with Matt who recently left the company for AEW.
The veteran wrestler wasn’t upset in the slightest that WWE took from his gimmick which attained cult status the first time around.
He applauded the WWE for their use of the style and proclaimed there’s room for matches like this in Wrestling when done correctly.
My twitter feed exploded.

Thanks for all the love, folks.. I’m truly honored. Cinematic matches 100% work with the right characters, scenario & fanbase – I envisioned them as a new branch of pro wrestling years ago.
Much like TLC did, The #BROKEN Universe will leave its mark.
That was just night one. We now have the real possibility of a similar style of match when John Cena takes on The Fiend Bray Wyatt. It would take something incredible to top The Boneyard match, which seems to have gotten over with most fans.
