NXT Takeover takes place this Sunday on the 16th of February 2020 for the first time coming to you live from Portland Oregon. The card is stacked as we have 6 matches to delight us instead of the usual 5. There are 4 Championship matches as well as a singles match and a street fight with every match having the potential to be a show stealer. I have once again brought in MostlyCraig and MostlyConor to offer their input. As always we will be bringing you our Predictions for the card and remember if you bet on them then gamble responsibly.

NXT Championship Rhea Ripley Vs Bianca Belair

These two have been involved recently with Charlotte Flair in the lead up to Wrestlemania and it seems like the winner of this match will go on to face Charlotte as Champion at the show of shows. With this being said and Rhea having already pinned Charlotte there’s more history there than Bianca has so we can see Rhea being the one to pick up the win.

Rhea Ripley 1/8 – Gary, Craig, Conor
Bianca Belair 9/2 – Nobody

NXT Tag Team Championship Undisputed Era Vs Broserweights

Very few expected Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle to go all the way in this year’s Dusty Classic especially as until the tournament the two had not teamed together. The tournament showed a lack of tag teams in NXT and having the Broserweights topple the Undisputed Era could be a way to build the division since most of its previous teams went to Raw or Smackdown. That being said Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly have been known to overcome the odds in the past and this wouldn’t be the most cohesive team they have faced so far. We predict Undisputed Era to retain the gold.

Broserweights 4/7 – Gary
Undisputed Era 5/4 – Craig, Conor

Finn Balor Vs Johnny Gargano

Johnny Takeover had to miss his first Takeover due to the being injured at the hands of Finn Balor and Balor has been on a rampage since returning to NXT. Balor was one of the early major faces of the revamped NXT and took it to new heights. Since he has returned as a heel it looks like we can look forward to what was once a dream match. Gargano has all the momentum in the world but if he beats Balor that grinds Balors momentum to a screeching halt. That’s why we foresee Balor picking up the win here.

Finn Balor 1/2 – Gary, Craig, Conor

Johnny Gargano 6/4 – Nobody

NXT North American Championship Keith Lee Vs Dominik Dijakovic

Bask in his Glory! This one seems the most predictable on the card to us. While this match between the big men will be very exciting we can’t see Keith Lee dropping the title so soon after taking it from Roderick Strong. Dijakovic will put up a strong showing but it won’t be enough to beat the limitless one

Keith Lee 1/10 – Gary, Craig, Conor

Dominik Dijakovic 11/2 – Nobody

Street Fight Dakota Kai Vs Tegan Nox

One of the most heated rivalries going on in any women’s division right now sees Dakota Kai try to even up the score after Nox beat her on an episode of NXT. Kai turned on her friend at Wargames III by smashing Nox’s previously injured knee in the door of the cage repeatedly. Both women will be looking to do serious damage to the other and these matches tend to favour the heel as they can be as aggressive as they want. We can see Dakota Kai picking up the win here as she has more to gain from this win

Dakota Kai 1/2 – Gary, Craig, Conor

Tegan Nox 6/4 – Nobody

NXT Championship Adam Cole Vs Tomasso Ciampa

Cole Vs Ciampa will surely be the main event here. The current Champion defending his title against the man who never lost it. With Goldie up for grabs Ciampa will be more determined than ever to win this match. Cole has the Undisputed Era who have been known to interfere in the past and could be a major factor here in the outcome of the match. While this match will surely be a 5 star match we can see Cole retaining as Ciampa finally getting Goldie back feels more like a Wrestlemania weekend moment than one in February.

Adam Cole 5/6 – Gary, Craig

Tomasso Ciampa 5/6 – Conor
