For the first time since before WrestleMania, Edge returned to Raw. He wanted to dismiss the idea that he was still hunting Randy Orton and explained that chapter was behind him.
In perfect timing Orton interrupted. He claimed that the better man won at WrestleMania, but not the better wrestler. The Viper made excuses for his loss to Edge at Mania by saying that the Last Man Standing match was not a wrestling match but instead a violent fight.

“I don’t think you’ve got it in you anymore,” Orton said before pointing out the doubt he saw in Edge’s eyes.
The Viper reminded Edge of the numerous compliments he paid him, looking to poke fun his former tag team partner trying to manipulate him into a rematch at the next pay per view “If you’ve got the guts, then at Backlash, it will be Edge vs. Orton in a straight up wrestling match.”

A conflicted Edge did not respond, instead the show ended showing him contemplating his options.
