Good news for both promotions! Both NXT and AEW saw huge increases in their numbers this week. They both put on very entertaining shows, hopefully this is the start of an improving trend. Tony Khan will be happy to know that AEW Dynamite is still winning the Wednesday night ratings battle.
Bryan Alvarez took to Twitter to inform us of the numbers. All Elite Wrestling had an average of 827,000 viewers while NXT had 731,000 average viewers.

Last weeks AEW Dynamite show gained 701,000 for the Double or Nothing go-home show. This week’s episode after the pay per view jumped 126,000 viewers to a massive 827,000.
This week’s episode featured three huge debuts. We seen Brian Cage for the first time since he won the Casino Ladder Chip, granting him a title shot.
We also seen the introduction of former WWE tag team FTR – Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood. And finally, we seen Mike Tyson Debut on the show to start a feud with Chris Jericho in the main event segment of the show
Meanwhile, NXT gained a whopping 139,000 viewers from last week. Their popularity was mainly focused on the Cage Fight between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher with Kurt Angle as the referee. This match gained great reviews as well as the whole show being highly regarded by fans.
NXT is building up to their NXT Takeover: In Your House event scheduled for June 7, while AEW has started building towards Fyter Fest, which currently has no scheduled date.
