On the night following WWE pay per view BackLash, we seen a slight increase in the ratings for Monday Night Raw.
On Twitter earlier today, Bryan Alvarez informed us that the average viewership for this week’s episode was 1,940,000.
RAW: 1.94 million

From last weeks numbers, this is an increase of roughly 200,000 viewers. There is clearly an interest from fans to follow up on Sunday’s Backlash as it was one of the highest increases following a pay per view this year.
The focus post BackLash was Edge and Randy Orton’s ‘Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’. Edge was not able to make it to the post-match gloat by Orton as he tore his triceps during a re-take of the match. Instead Orton was met by Christian.
Orton and Christian took part in an impromptu match, Christians first since his retirement back in 2014. His comeback was not very successful however as he was beaten by The Viper with a punt to the head after interference by Ric Flair.
Elsewhere on the episode we seen two rematches from Sunday night. Drew McIntyre once again defeated Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship and Asuka retained her WWE Raw Women’s Title against Nia Jax.
Over the next few weeks, we will see Raw build up to the Extreme Rules pay per view. Who would you like to see start a new feud?
