WWE have tonight confirmed Samoa Joe will serve a 30 day suspension for his first violation of the companies wellness policy.

Joe has arguably been doing some of the best work of his WWE run – showing his personality on commentary while injured the TNA legend came back to the ring as a face with the fans embracing him.

This is disappointing news for the top angle on Raw with Seth Rollins, the AOP and Murphy all involved in a story with Joe and KO.

There will need to be some reshuffling going forward.

Evidently, this is the second wellness violation in a month for WWE. Previously banning Andrade for 30 days.

Being caught by the wellness policy could be detrimental to any push. It didn’t appear to effect Roman Reigns when he was suspended through the policy.
