SmackDown star and former Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak had parted ways with WWE after his contract expired this week. Gulak has been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s website and has officially left the company.

It was earlier reported online that Gulak had been released from his contract, which would have come as no surprise after all the stars that have been released recently. PWInsider corrected this theory and confirmed that Gulak’s contract had expired after his Intercontinental Championship tournament match with Daniel Bryan this week.

Gulak had been in talks with WWE prior to his contract expiring but the two parties could not come to terms on a new deal. Gulak does not have a 90-day non-compete clause which means he is eligible to start working whenever and wherever he wants from now because his contract expired and was not terminated,

His only title reign in WWE came as Cruiserweight Champion in 2019. He won the strap at Stomping Grounds in June and held it until October, dropping it to Lio Rush on NXT TV.

Since Gulak is now a free agent. Where do you think he will go?
