There are rumours being reported regarding a major update regarding the status of Monday Night Raw star. According to these recent rumours, Kairi Sane could be leaving WWE.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Sane is leaving the company to return to Japan to be with her husband, he added that WWE have known about these plans since May.
The plan was that Sane was going to suffer a ‘career-ending injury’ to allow WWE to write her off the show. The injury that she suffered against Nia Jax was not part of this plan. Jax botched a move, again, and caused Sane to have a massive gash in her head. This is that last time we seen her in action.
According to Meltzer the plan was to have her ‘injured’ and whoever inflicted it would start a feud with Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
This plan could have completely changed now that Paul Heyman is no longer Executive Director of Raw. If the plan did go ahead there is a whole host of stars that could have been involved in the feud, it could have been Charlotte Flair or Shayna Baszler’s way back onto the show.
Kairi Sane is only 31 years old and a great athlete. Her retirement and a possible return to Japan will disappoint a lot of fans. We will keep you updated on her situation if we get any more information.
