For once we are reporting good news when it comes to Tv ratings. In this Wednesday night’s war both NXT and AEW Dynamite seen an increase in their viewers. All Elite Wrestling came out top once again.

NXT gained 663,00 viewers while AEW topped it with 732,000 according to a tweet from Bryan Alvarez today.

Dynamite improved on last week’s numbers of 693,000 to over 732,000.  Considering the packed show they produced this week the numbers make total sense. The show included in ring returns of Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley, and the debut of Matt Hardy. In the main event Sammy Guervara and Chris Jericho were triumphant over Matt Hardy and Kenny Omega in a Street Fight.

NXT’s numbers were also up from last week. Last week’s average viewers were 637,000 which increased to 663,000. Charlotte Flair retained her NXT Women’s Championship by disqualification over Io Shirai and Adam Cole beat Velveteen Dream in less than ten minutes which created a bit of a disappointing show.

NXT is still unable to build to any real Takeover event at the moment whereas All Elite Wrestling is currently building to their Double or Nothing pay per view on May 23. They announced a number of matches for the show last night.
