NXT and AEW dynamite’s ratings went in opposite directions after this weeks show. NXT’s ratings went down whereas All Elite Wrestling’s numbers went up.
On Twitter today Bryan Alvarez revealed the ratings. Dynamite gained 701,000 viewers on average while NXT only averaged 592,000 viewers

AEW’s viewers were significantly up from last week’s number of 654,000 to 701,000. Meanwhile, NXT dropped again, losing 12,000 viewers from last week.
This week’s Dynamite was the go-home show for the Double or Nothing pay per view on Saturday. They set up a number of the top matches for the show including the Stadium Stampede match between The Inner Circle and The Elite. It has been reported that a few wrestlers appeared to be injured on the show with varying degrees of severity including Rey Fenix, Britt Baker and Matt Jackson.
NXT focussed on building towards their Takeover: In Your House event. They announced new matches for the show, including Tomasso Ciampa vs. Karrion Kross. NXT also furthered the programs of Johnny Gargano vs. Keith Lee and Matt Riddle vs. Timothy Thatcher.
It can be assumed that next weeks episode of Dynamite will continue to climb in the ratings after their pay per view this Saturday. Will NXT do the same on the way towards In Your House?
