It wont be long now before we are able to get our hands on the new WWE video game. 2K have announced the release date of the new Battlegrounds game along with some more information about the format of the game.
It was confirmed today that the retro arcade style game will be made for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Stadia and Windows PC. It will be available for purchase on September 18th.

Within the game you will be able to test your skills with five different game modes including an exciting campaign mode in which you can choose one of seven superstars to fight for the chance to earn a WWE contract.
You get to experience taking part in various bootcamp locations from around the world within the campaign. You will also get to learn from Wrestling Legends such as Paul Heyman and Sone Cold Steve Austin.
There will be tournaments, exhibition matches and even a King of the Battleground gauntlet match with up to eight players. The best of all these modes is that they are online competitions.
