It has been much rumoured over the last several months since it was announced that WWE Smackdown Live would be moving to the Fox network starting October that there would be another WWE Draft.

WWE have confirmed this via their website, “The destinies of WWE Superstars will be determined during a two-night WWE Draft taking place live on Friday Night SmackDown on Oct. 11 on FOX and Raw on Oct. 14 on USA Network.

On both nights of the Draft, Superstars from Raw and SmackDown will appear along with personalities from FOX and NBCUniversal programming to announce select picks that will determine the rosters of each distinct brand.”

It is still unclear how it will be put in to practice with previous drafts being less than impressive when it came to superstars actually being exclusive to the brand.

Our personal favourite rule was the 4 wild card rule which allowed up to 36 superstars to crossover brands at any given time… or something like that.

Although I jest, these always make for intriguing shows especially with NXT live in the mix. It will be fun to see where the cards fall and over that weekend in October, WWE is sure to pop a big rating.
