Impact Wrestling announced that they had released World Champion Tessa Blanchard from her contract. This cam last week after the relationship between the champion and the promotion fractured.

Following from her release it was reported that Blanchard was expected to receive an offer from multiple promotions including WWE. Vince McMahon had been rumoured to have “put out feelers” regarding the star.

Tessa Blanchard was supposed to send videos to promote Impacts upcoming ‘Slammiversary’. The schedule for the pay per view had to be changed after she refused to send any footage from her home.

Blanchard has historically been accused of racism and bullying on social media earlier this year, so many assumed that All Elite Wrestling would not be interested in the star, after all they banned Hulk Hogan and his ex-wife from their shows for their past behaviour. But it seems her undeniable talent may outweigh her previous conduct.

Star of AEW’s Women Division Big Swole, has taken to social media to say that despite Blanchard’s alleged “attitude problems” she would like to see her sign for AEW.

A fan sent Swole a Tweet asking her opinion on Blanchard and she replied to say that “professionally her smartest choice is AEW”

We have had no official word on whether AEW is interested in approaching Blanchard, but it would be amazing if we seen them go head to head with WWE to get the clearly talented woman’s signature
