The XFL have confirmed they have filed for Bankruptcy in a stunning turn of events as reported by Si.com.

The cursed football league announced the insolvency event after laying off most of their staff last week.

The bankruptcy listed both assets and liabilities in the range of $10 million to $50 million.

Owned by Vince McMahon and Aloha entertainments — this was the second attempt at the XFL after the failed season twenty years ago.

The league was just five weeks into its season when the shutdown hit hard and now Vince McMahon has decided to cut bate.

There’s no plans to reassure the the league in 2021 and while this pandemic has brought everything to a grinding halt — the letters XFL will forever be synonymous with Vince’s failed football venture.
